My family and I are free thinking, tolerant atheists. Unfortunately my 11 and 13 year old kids have to keep their beliefs to themselves in school and with friends or they would be ostracized. They would love to talk to fellow children atheists!
My husband and I read a positive article and attended some wonderful meetings. It was difficult to get to the meetings on time due to my husband's commute. Now that my kids are older, I hope to bring them.

I would love to make friends, develop a sense of community and especially find connections for my children.
It's great to develop a sense of community outside of work for those of us who don't do the church thing!
My kids son is 9 and my daughter is 6. They are raised to be freethinkers. My kids are schooled at home with me but I told them to say that god(s) is a private topic that they don't talk about outside of their family.
Your most welcome
Welcome! Hope to see you at our meetup tomorrow.
Welcome Deb! Wonderful to hear that your children are not brainwashed with superstitious nonsense.
