It was nice to hear a spirited defense of speculative technology, which I define as "technology that isn't developed in response to a known need or want." My only wish is that developers in spaces like wearables were more visibly active in the security and privacy technology communities. (To be fair, the converse is also true: security and privacy developers need to get their hands dirty with app development in high-risk contexts, too).

Business people are welcome to join us and learn more about PHP/Drupal and network with the pros. Note, there will be a number of consultants and dev shops at the event, thus I expect it to be a great place to network.

Please help make So Cal a better tech eco system. If you know of anyone whom may make a good presenter for SCALE 13x ( So Cal Linux Expo, the largest volunteer run Open Source Conference in North America ), please encourage them to submit their proposal for presentation.

SCALE 13x has just recently opened their Call For Papers/Presentations. SCALE 13x will be Feb[masked] at the LAX Hilton.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
