Minute Man Sportsman Club (map)
We will have our own field and instructors and they will provide the firearms and the rounds (25 shots). No experience necessary. They also have a cash bar and a dining area, so if there's enough interest when we get there, they'll even order pizza for us and have it delivered (additional charge, of course).
So let's shoot the breeze and then tell tall tales about it over lunch!
Unfortunately, MMSC couldn't accommodate our group for Sunday, so this event now takes place SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 11:00 am. Please double-check your schedule and update your RSVP if necessary. The club is restricting us to 20 people. I'll need to give them a final headcount the Wednesday before, so RSVPs will be open until 2pm on September 15.
More info to come....
I would love to do this... but I'm not sure yet. I'll update my RSVP closer to the date.
@Doug: we won't be shooting skeet; only trap. I'm told the difference is that most newbie's can't hit a skeet but can hit a trap ... or something like that ... #;-)
Whoa! That was quick work. @Rayshauna and @Robin: if you still need a ride, let me know. I can meet you at the ABP/Davis Sq between 10-10:15?
Yes!
[And yes, I did leap out my chair when I read your message - I am that excited].
hi, anor, yes I still need a ride - are you still available? =robin
Hi - I'm driving and can take 3 if anyone needs - I'll have to pick up and drop off at Kendall Square T (red line). 10-10:15.
I Soooo, wanted to do this sport...as luck would have it (or not) I pulled the muscles in my shoulder, enough to require physical therapy (just happened to move just the wrong way, I guess...)- So there's not way I can participate this time...Hopefully there'll be another chance... & one of these times I'll be able to meet you all. Some really interesting activities happening here.
Thanks for the photos, Karen. Very impressive ... we all look happy and dangerous!
thanks for taking all the best ones!
Nope!
