To learn new things, engage in enjoyable discussions and have fun.
Tell us something about yourself.
I am a financial advisor who dabbles in web design and reads textbooks for pleasure.
We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?
The last few years have seen significant movement towards DIY manufacturing equipment, where 3D printers 'print' out machinery parts. It could revolutionize how products are produced by designers and entrepeneurs and distributed to consumers. Much of the research is being done by some professors at MIT. It might be fun to tour their labs and talk to them and to discuss the implications to society.
What type of events/activities you will be interested in?
Discussions mainly, but I also like outings to unusual places that I otherwise would noever have heard of.
