Introduction

I'm David and I belong to several meetups in the Boston area. I know some people who belong to Inquisitive Minds and they recommended it. When they described it , I thought it was just the kind of group I've been looking for.

What are your expectations from the group?

I hope to be able to engage in animated, informed discussions covering a wide variety of topics. I'm looking for a lively exchange of ideas. Above all, I am eager to hear other people's opinions about some of my favorite subjects. Where others are better informed than I am, I eager to learn something new.

Tell us something about yourself.

I am a Baby Boomer, who migrated from the post-industrial regions of Pennsylvania to Post Modern Cambridge, Ma. I am an avid reader and film-goer. I love conversation and feel I don't get enough of it. The exchange of ideas is like food to me. This meet up sounds geat!

We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?

I really enjoy science, medicine, economics and the arts. How about history, especially ancient Greece and the 20th century?

What type of events/activities you will be interested in?

Lectures, debates and discussions all sound good to me. Perhaps exhibits and some documentaries as well.
