Hi, I’m an inquisitive mind too! It’s so great that there is a meetup group like this.
To engage in some great conversations, learn new things, and hopefully make a few good friends.
I work for the federal government, but don’t hold that against me! I'm an economist by training, but have a lot of other interests. I love to travel and I'm interested in learning languages.
Recently I’ve been into the science of learning/how people learn based on how the brain works. I think that would be an interesting topic to explore as a group.
Anything from attending lectures to hanging out and having a few drinks.

Let's have a pizza sometime. :)
Ed-san, it was nice meeting you today!
The first meetup will be after Christmas. Even if we only have 3 members! :P
Welcome to Tokyo Positive Thinkers! :D
Hi Ed:
Looks like we won't have much turnout for December: I'm going to cancel next week's meeting and try to get lots more people to turn up for the January meeting.
when you get a chance, let me know what you think of those group-future ideas...would love your feedback before widening things out and generating a discussion...
hope all is well,
best,
Terri
Hi Ed:
Oh, we'll miss you! I'll make a detailed report again, so you can see what we discussed.
See you next time!
best,
Terri
Hi Ed: you're on! Let me get through today and see if other folks are interested, then we can Skype and see where to go from there.
you're a gem,
thanks,
Terri
Oh geez, Ed, I'm sorry - my brain is all Twisted! Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
cheers,
Terri
Hi Ed:
I noticed your sign up and wanted to note that this group is really targeted towards tech/web/mobile
startups who live and work in Tokyo.
Thank you for your interest.
best,
Terri
Grew up out in Gardner, spend a few years living around Boston. Somerville and Malden to be exact. I've been here since July 2. Trying to find work right now. Have had an interview so far, have another one lined up next week. Fingers crossed.
