Introduction
I joined this group because I'm in a constant quest for knowledge. What a better way to learn than doing it among a group of friends that are fun loving, intellectually appealing and open minded?
What are your expectations from the group?
From this group I expect to learn something new, to see other peoples perspectives while making new friends and having fun in the process.
Tell us something about yourself.
I'm a 40+ years old System Administrator. I have a broad taste but for sake of space: I enjoy arts and science, museums, meaningful discussions, technology, coffee and bike rides.
We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?
You have a big list already ;-) but here are some: Is there life after death? What happens after we die? What is reality? Perception vs Reality. What is creativity How can we foster creativity? Is there intelligent life somewhere else in the universe? How do we achieve happiness? How can you dramatically alter your life for the better? What is art? What makes something a work of art? What do you think of Extra Sensory Perception?... is it real? What is perfection?... Can we achieve it (in our jobs, life, relationships)? Is God really almighty? (if there is a god/goddess)? Is there a better political system? a better economical system? How to deal with loss Is there a limit to what we can learn? What is fate?... Can we really change our destiny? How to conquer fear?
What type of events/activities you will be interested in?
Discussions about philosophical questions, social issues, environmental issues, science and technology, visits to museums, scavenger hunts, murder mystery parties, and any other creative and intellectually challenging but equally fun activities.

Welcome to the group Jorge. I'm starting to schedule classes after a bit of an absence on an extended engagement in Cambridge, MA. I am looking for other MCTs who might back me up so that we can continue these schedules without interruption when I have other such extended projects. I hope you'll find some classes useful to you. As always, please don't hesitate to communicate with me directly and be sure to pass word of this program along to friends and colleagues who might benefit.
