Decision making discussion resources (5/21/10)

A former member
Hi everyone!

Here are the books recommended by Kyle:

(1) Robot Rebellion (Keith E. Stanovich, 2005)
(2) Personality (Daniel Nettle, 2007)
(3) Nudge (Thaler & Sunstein, 2008)

And, another book of interest by Nettle:

(4) Happiness (2006)

Oh, and lest we forget, a website to nudge you in the right direction (but no pressure!):

If you lose track of this email, it is also posted on the IM site's message board.

By the way . . . I'm Forrester at -- if anyone wants some support, a witness to a commitment, or whatever, let me know!

One other potential resource is Malcom Gladwell's Blink -- I didn't get much out of it, but it's not bad, and has some interesting stories. (But by far, The Robot's Rebellion is the best book I've found on these issues.)

John -- I saw you brought a book too, but we never got a chance to discuss it -- was it another possible resource for the topic?
