No Show Policy

Signing up for an event, and then failing to show up, is not cool.

Not cool at all.

For many of our event venues, we have limited seating.

When we bring a group to a restaurant, we need to provide a reliable accurate count for the reservation.

When we have an event with a waiting list, failing to change your "yes" to a "no", cheats one of your fellow IM members on the waiting list of a chance to attend. Not cool!

Sometimes a transportion problem or a family emergency means at the last minute you can't attend. But in general, members are expected to be responsible with their RSVPs.

Not showing up when you said you would, or changing your RSVP just a few hours before an event are both considered a "No Show".

A repeated record of "No Shows" will result in losing your privilege to attend events.

Please be cool, and update your RSVPs at least a day before!
