Welcome to Inside Wine Santa Barbara! Co-founded in September of 2012 by Tama Takahashi and Lila Brown - two women passionate about wine and food and working in the wine business. Lila and I met in baking class at the School of Culinary Arts at SBCC. We've channeled our mutual interest in wine & food into creating educational and affordable events.
In January 2015, Lila moved to Sonoma and Hana-Lee Sedgwick joined me as Co-organizer. Hana-Lee is a sommelier and wine writer and will add her talents to the Inside Wine Santa Barbara team.
Our group features tastings with winemakers and sommeliers who give us the "inside scoop" on viniculture, viticulture, wine-food pairing and wine appreciation. We live in one of the top wine producing regions in the world--come and celebrate it with us!
