Are you ready for the fourth Worldwide InstaMeet?! We're very excited to announce that on Sunday the 11th of March you'll have the chance to get together with other Instagrammers in your town by organizing your very own meetup!
This time around, we're asking everyone to go on a photowalk together. For more information keep an eye on our InstaMeets page at http://blog.instagram.com/instameets where we'll be sharing tips for your upcoming photowalk, as well as featuring recent InstaMeets in order to spark some creativity & encourage you to join in by organizing or participating in the fourth Worldwide InstaMeet.
SPREAD THE WORD
– Share an image of a note to your followers letting them know about the Instagram meetup page. Get creative & handwrite the note, or use an app like Phoster!
– Use the hashtag #instameet on Instagram and Twitter when posting about meetups.
– Share the link to your city's meetup page on Facebook and Twitter; or email the page to your friends.
We'll be featuring some of our favorite images & group shots on our blog once the big day has arrived, so be sure to join your city's meetup group and use the tips above to spread the word about your InstaMeet!

Instagrammers in cities all around the world will be meeting up in their hometowns for a photowalk. Head out for a walk around your city to snap photos and get to know other Instagrammers in your hometown.
Photowalks have already been done in Austin, Texas; Bath, UK; NYC and San Francisco. Check out the #instameet hashtag on Instagram for photos from those events!

Introducing an easy way for you to get together with Instagrammers in your area, no matter what part of the world you live in: Worldwide InstaMeets. On 24 March, Instagrammers in all different parts of the world will gather in their hometowns to meet other members of the Instagram community.
HOW'S IT WORK?
Just go to meetup.com/instagram to join your city's Instagram meetup group. Once some other folks in your area say they're interested, you can choose a location and meet. Someone can even volunteer to be the organizer to help move the process along.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
The goal of the Worldwide InstaMeet is simply to get together with other Instagrammers in your area. In Portland, @grether organized one of the very first Instameets. "Just get people in a social space (coffee shop, pub, restaurant) with their phones and start talking about this shot or that, this app or that," he says. That same approach has worked for Instameets in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, too.
If you're looking for more structure, consider organizing a photowalk, which Instagrammers in San Francisco and Bath, UK have already done (search for the #instameet tag). Or find an event in your area that fellow Instagrammers might be interested in. Just the other week, Instagrammers met up at the Apple Store in Manhattan to listen to @sionfullana's talk on iPhoneography.
