The Fourth of July is no better time to honor our freedom founders, ordinary people who walked these same streets, lived in many of these same houses, and drank similar beer. They talked and argued, conceded and asserted, dreamed and built, creating the foundation for a new culture. They envisioned an innovative yet solid social order that fostered liberty, curiosity, service, loyalty to a higher purpose – in short the evolution of both individual consciousness and of the culture at large.
We are now those people who walk the lanes and avenues, who dream and aspire, who observe and respond to the call to deepen and evolve. Join Jeff Carreira, author of Philosophy Is Not A Luxury, and Amy Edelstein author of Love, Marriage & Evolution for a stimulating look at the opportunities that face us now. In this short talk, free and open to the public, in the beautiful gardens of Christ Church where Franklin, Washington, Ross, and others meditated and prayed, they will amplify that inner stirring to evolve and inspire us all to see ourselves – in our own way and our own niche in life - as significant as we potentially can be – as the freedom founders of the next new era.
There is no cost for this event.
*After the talk please join us to stroll old city for First Friday, a monthly open house for the art galleries of Philadelphia, and then enjoy dinner and conversation at Karma restaurant at 8:30pm.*
