SUNDAY MORNING SESSIONS: These brief sessions provide deep relaxation and stress reduction through guided meditations and contemplation. Additionally, they provide opportunities for self-reflection, resolution of internal tensions, and increased self-awareness that can enrich the experience of day-to-day life. Equally importantly, they provide an opportunity for individuals with shared values and beliefs based on compassion and loving kindness to form a community of shared interest. The meditative exercises and contemplations are informed by the 2000 year-old traditions of Vajrayana Buddhism yet are intentionally tailored for individuals of all spiritual lineages. They are suitable for individuals with little or no experience with meditation. They are equally suited for individuals with extensive meditative histories who wish to increase the level of relaxation and calm abiding experienced in their own practices. Please wear loose fitting clothing and bring a small pillow and blanket for additional comfort. Those with limited mobility should inquire for special accommodations. THE FACILITATOR Dona Witten, PhD.
Integrated Life Path Coaching and Workshops programs are designed to help you access your deepest, most meaningful aspirations and then, through safe and skillful facilitation, transform those aspirations into an enriching path towards actuality. Over twenty years ago I asked my Tibetan meditation master, Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche, a simple question that has profoundly changed my life. I asked him, ‘How does a person with a busy life full of responsibilities find time for meditation practice?’ His answer, ‘What makes you think that work and meditation are two different things?’ Integrated Life Path Coaching and Workshops are the result of my journey to understand how to meaningfully integrate spirituality into all aspects of my life. It has led to deepening study of Tibetan Buddhist meditation practices including co-writing a book with Akong Tulku Rinpoche: Enlightened Management: A Compassionate Guide for Working with People. It has also led to a doctorate in Psychology where I have focused my attention on how we are constructed and defined through relationship. My theories regarding how organizational relationship patterns affect organizational and personal performance and how they can be optimized for maximum effectiveness and satisfaction are receiving increased attention from the academic and business sectors. Integrated Life Path Coaching and Workshops are designed to help you access your deepest, most meaningful aspirations and then, through safe and skillful facilitation, transform those aspirations into an enriching path towards actuality. Based on the personal development book co-written by the facilitator and my meditation instructor of over four decades, Akong Tulku Rinpoche, Enlightened Management: A Compassionate Guide for Working with People.
