Mind and Body Techniques to Increase Neurological Functioning and Harmony
Does your child struggle with ADD, autism, behavioral or sensory challenges,learning difficulties or anxiety?

In this workshop with Kristen Oliver, MOT, OTR/L and Adele Schiessle, BIS you will learn:
• Techniques that will help lower your stress and help you connect more deeply with your child.
• How using movement and touch to create new neural pathways increases your child’s abilities
• How your thoughts & beliefs affect family dynamics and what to do to bring about more peace
• Specific ways to help everyone in the family reach their full potential
This is an experiential workshop. We will practice techniques and provide supporting handouts in order to begin implementing strategies at home immediately.

Kristen Oliver is a pediatric occupational therapist who has developed a unique approach – she works both with children and their parents by addressing the root causes of behavioral, sensory, and emotional challenges. By creating meaningful connections, Kristen teaches families specific action steps toward identifying and releasing old patterns that perpetuate the symptoms they are experiencing. Adele Schiessle is a Brain Integration Specialist. She teaches families how to use movement and body work to create neural connections that increase our abilities in all aspects of life. This includes: emotional, social, academic, communication abilities and more. She continues to expand on her knowledge in Specialized Kinesiology - movement and touch affect brain functioning.
