Put in the windows and door to the cottage and throw mud and straw on the roof!

We are nearly there!!! At least for now to have a place to hang out in the bad weather.

If you're available mid-week help us button up the cottage so we can stay warm and dry this winter.

Bring a gallon of water, some food to share and a sleeping bag if you want to overnight. We have a large tent and matresses or a hammock if you'd like to try that.

Please respond to the two questions posted.

I brought 3 2x4 x 10 ft. and 3 2x4 by 8; hoping we will be able to cut them in half without wasting any material, but can't find my skill saw.
George is donating a very large and heavy wood stove. It may be better suited for the kitchen and too heavy to move very far!

Did you see I posted the liability wavier under Files? Now everyone can see it and know what there are getting into ahead of time.

Soil will probably be too wet to put on the roof at this point - but it will be good to get a layer of hay and straw down. I think putting a wood stove in will also be a priority. We'll need chimney pipe.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
