I returned to NO in 2008, after 20 yrs. I taught writing & am now involved with social agriculture for people with psych-challenges. I love a community of playful spirits to get me into the moment & out of a busy brain. Get involved. Get connected.
I loved InterPlay from the moment I found it, but have never found it easy to put into words. It is not simply a "modality" for sefl-improvement. It's not about "bettering" yourself, and nobody tries to change you. It's more about how to live with fullness in the face of change, if you want that. To some it is just invigorating to do the "forms" that are so physical they actually feel "spiritual." InterPlay reweaves the split between physical & spiritual. InterPlay is about experiencing more of what you already are. There are parts of us that were shut down in childhood and have begun to wither. There are parts of ourselves we don't even know yet. InterPlay takes us on a no effort journey of discovering and rediscovering all of who we are. I so badly want to have other InterPlayers in New Orleans I can play with because it becomes a practice that makes me more comfortable in my own skin on a daily basis and better able to handle the life's changes that are inevitable.
