This month on the fantasy side, we will be reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien! The 15th is now our day. The movie starts at 2:30pm, so let's meet at the theater by 2:15. Tickets can be purchased here. You might not need to buy tickets in advance though.
We will be heading to T.G.I. Friday's between 5:30 and 6pm, depending on how long the movie runs; The length of the film has not been released yet (however, I'm fairly sure it will be over 2 hours- this is a Peter Jackson movie after all). The AMC Painter's Crossing is in West Chester, so it should be a good central location for everyone.
"Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely traveling any farther than his pantry or cellar. But his contentment is disturbed when the wizard Gandalf and a company of dwarves arrive on his doorstep one day to whisk him away on an adventure. They have launched a plot to raid the treasure hoard guarded by Smaug the Magnificent, a large and very dangerous dragon. Bilbo reluctantly joins their quest, unaware that on his journey to the Lonely Mountain he will encounter both a magic ring and a frightening creature known as Gollum."
