Reading People – How to Identify, Hypnotize and Persuade by Sean Michael Andrews

This is going to be an amazing event. Sean Michael Andrews is someone who I have respected in the Hypnosis world for many years. Amazing he came across Interesting Talks and got in contact.

Sean is flying to London to exclusively speak at Interesting Talks. He will be doing 2 nights back to back. This is your chance to see the World’s Fastest Hypnotist in action!!! Do not miss out.

Details of talk: “Reading People – How to Identify, Hypnotize and Persuade” As a street hypnotist and presenter, I am required to perform eye-popping demonstrations of hypnosis that “wow the crowd.” Find out how I set up the demonstrations and always pick the best subjects. This talk will be of interest to hypnotherapists, stage hypnotists, street hypnotists, but also to anyone who wants to learn how to persuade. The talk will provide theory and tips, but will also include demonstrations of instant hypnosis.

Sean Michael Andrews is a Certified hypnotherapist from Maryland, USA. He is the Supervising Instructor for the Dave Elman Hypnosis Institute. Sean teaches the nurse anesthetist course for the American School of Clinical Hypnosis International.  He is also the Director and Senior Instructor for the Atlantic Hypnosis Institute.  Sean is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He teaches his unique style of instant hypnosis throughout the North America, Europe and Australia. Many consider him to be “The World's Fastest Hypnotist.”

He is certified with:

National Board of Hypnosis Education and Certification

Tickets are non-transferable and can not be sold to other members. We have a waiting list system in place.

Venue: St James Church Conference Centre. Walk down Piccadilly until you reach Costa Coffee (part of the Waterstone’s building). We are then down the black metal stairs located about 10ft away from Costa.

Time: The Doors open at 6:30pm and the talk starts at 7pm sharp. Please note that we no longer allow late admittance to the talks. If you arrive past 7pm and the speaker has started, then you will not be permitted to enter the venue until the break at 7:45pm.

Waiting list: If you are on the waiting list then you will be sent an automatic notification should a place become available. Once this email it sent, it is first come first served. My friend and I were both very pleasantly surprised at how sincere and pleasant Sean was - we had expected a lot of fast-paced hype and sales pitch. The actual talk was a bit of a hotch-potch and not quite sure who it was aimed at. As a professional who doesn't use 'instant' inductions I was glad to be picked as a demo subject for these - and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I found I was still in a pleasant trance when we walked down Piccadilly afterwards - though I'm v glad my friend was with me as I wasn't particularly traffic-aware. Perhaps a warning would be appropriate! Didn't really think we needed a break in a 2 hour talk, but overall enjoyed seeing Sean.

Sean was a very engaging speaker. I found the talk thoroughly interesting with all the hypnosis practical examples quite fun to watch. I would've liked to hear more information for the non-hypnotists, which had some included, but would've been nice to have even more on how to read and persuade people. But overall, a great experience and Sean was such a nice guy.

Very charismatic and engaging speaker. I enjoyed listening to him. However, I feel strongly that the talk was mis-named. If it had been named Hypnotising people, how to read, identify and persuade it would have been more accurate (and I would not have attended). Was I alone in not realising that it was 90 percent about hypnotising and how to identify good and bad subjects for hypnosis? Yes, the word Hypnotise is in the title, but not in a prominent position, just as one component out of four. Disappointed in this one.

Very entertaining and interesting delivered in an honest way that really allowed you to feel the presenter’s passion for his topic leaving the ‘listeners’ with many moments of disbelief and wonderment. Would have enjoyed some more practical tips for the non-hypnotist but thoroughly enjoyed the talk.

Could I have your tkts pleas?

      April 15, 2013

  • Matt K.

Hey guys. A lot of people are emailing me about tickets for this event. I have no control over the waiting list. When a ticket becomes available it sends out an email to those on the waiting list. Then it is first come, first served. If you are unable to change your RSVP to "going" then it is because someone else has done it before you. Unless you are on the "going" list, then you have not secured a ticket. I am sorry and I would love to have to you attend but we are limited with seating.

For more help with buying tickets, please consult meetup help.

    Hey guys

This is going to be an amazing talk and we are so lucky that Sean is coming all the way from Germany to speak for us.

To clarify, the doors open at 6:30pm and the talk starts at 7pm sharp. Late arrivals will have to wait until the break before entering the building. So please be on time!

If you can no longer make the talk, please change your RSVP so someone else can take your place. Matt
