Isn't it amazing how we all claim we want to be successful,  and we truthfully do want it! But if we had to point to what we've actually DONE in the last 30 days, we wouldn't have much to talk about.

It's not like we're lying. We really DO want to make more money...get a better job...have an amazing social life etc.

But actually DOING is a lot harder than just WANTING.

So we read book after book and blog after blog. And say things like, "I really should do week."

We read blog after blog about the guy who started a business where he works from a beach... the girl who quit her job to travel the world...the guy who shows you how he got 6-pack abs.

And we do ZERO.

It's great to have our group of friends. When we are younger, we're all going through the same challenges: getting our first job, how to deal with our parents etc.

But as we get older, things change. Some friends take different paths than we do. They're the ones who think it's "weird" to invest in courses or conferences for self-development. They're still awesome friends, but they just can't connect with us in that way.

And that's natural. Our friends can't be everything to us.

But we still need a group of people who really CAN help us with our larger goals. The challenges that we know are holding us back from taking ourselves, our careers, our goals to the next level.

There's almost nothing more powerful than a group of supportive people around you who truly understand you. Knowing that they've got your back, and all they want is to see you achieve your goals.

This has been proven to work. Weight Watchers doesn't just give its members information  it surrounds them with a group of other people going through the exact same challenges they are.

But in the real world, it gets increasingly hard to find people who are there to support us through thick and thin.

That's what we offer one another in this group, a social circle of people JUST LIKE YOU.

    Hi Aidan

I'm afraid I'm going to have to cry off for Saturday. I'm afraid I can't make it.

Hope to see you at the next interesting talk though

Can't make this one Aidan, but keep up the good work and hopefully I can help you with this worthwhile project in a few weeks.

Would like to go to this but am away for the next few weekends. Any chance of changing it to a weekday...

Hi Shane, unfortunately trying to get a time when everyone is free is tricky, Saturday is the best option to accommodate as many people as possible. Hopefully you can make it to the next one.

Is there a theme or a discussion point to the meeting? Thanks Nora

Hi Nora, these are different from most of the events on this page. This meetup is about individual members goals. We will be talking about what each of us wants to get done in the coming weeks to move towards our goals and then keeping one another accountable to make sure we follow through.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
