Hey all,

So, apparently the existing Hebrew meetup group in San Diego is not really for people who are still on the learning curve.

I can speak Hebrew fairly well, but I can't keep up with fast-speaking fluent Israelis. I wanted to create a group for people like me who have at least some basic Hebrew skills and want to build on them.

We would do events like watch Hebrew movies with English subtitles, go to a hookah bar and speak Hebrew in a way that others could keep up, run joint events with the JCC that would help us get a better handle on the language, and so forth.

This group would be social, as the other group is, but also have a focus on learning the language.

Please respond if you're interested. If there are enough people who want this to happen, then I'll organize something.
