Level 1 (Yang Tai Chi)

Tai Chi Chuan is probably best known today for its phenomenal health benefits, but it is also an extremely effective martial art.  Tai Chi's gentle, flowing motions are simple, natural, and very low impact making it a safe, healthful exercise, and a perfect discipline for men and women of all ages.  Tai Chi practice involves intense concentration on your immediate activity with an emphasis on complete relaxation.  This combination of the mind being focused on the body’s soft, fluid movements is one reason Tai Chi is often referred to as "meditation in motion”.

The Shaolin Center Dawsonville offers a specialized internal arts curriculum designed to improve overall fitness and enhance self awareness, along with breathing and meditation techniques to help reduce stress, while teaching proper body structure and mechanics, as well as self-defense methods.  Our program begins by teaching Yang Style Tai Chi 64 move long form, along with 49 postures of Yi Jin Jing(a sister art to Yoga), and continues your education with PaKua (BaGua), Hsing-I (Xing-Yi), and more.  

Monthly fee includes all Monday and Thursday classes for your level and below.

Two week FREE trial is available to new students at the beginning of each month. (pre-registration required)
