So Sorry! The third weekend snowstorm in a row...We have to postpone again to next Sunday March 3rd same time and place. Bev and I had a chance to walk the trail last Monday. It was a great walk and not really that cold. The trail was well maintained even after the snowstorm the previous day. I will keep you updated and confirm again closer to the date. Have a nice week and maybe some of those who couldn't make it before will be able to join us! Meanwhile, perhaps some of you would like to come to an adult ed travel evening this week...Tuesday at Waterville High and Wednesday at Maranacook...see below.

Ok, so it's settled. We are going to meet in Brunswick at 10:30 and walk the Androscoggin River Bicycle and Pedestrian Path then go to the Seadog in Topsham for brunch. I will be driving down from Augusta and can take 3-4 passengers or we can caravan if people want to have their own cars. The walking path is 2.6 miles along the river one way and we can do the whole 5.2 miles round trip or turn back part way. It's a paved path, so even if we have some snow before hopefully it'll be passable...Hopefully..we'll have to play it by ear...
After the walk we will head on over to the Seadog Brewing Company, Topsham Maine where they serve a HUGE buffet brunch between 10-2. I will try my hardest to avoid the brunch and have my favorite Asian Sesame Grilled Tuna sandwich instead...and sweet potato fries. And yes, Bev they have mimosas!
What a location! I love this spot, and the food is great too. We'll have to come back in the warmer weather so we can sit out on the deck over the Androscoggin river, but there is plenty of room inside for this time.
Directions to the Walking Path will be forthcoming thanks to Evelyn G. If anyone wants to ride with me or follow me down just ask! Hopefully some of the out of townies can make it this time...Sara the baker..you were missed last time! And Evelyn B. and Carol too! Looking forward to any newbies too!
