This Meetup is run by Chef/Entrepreneur/World Traveler & Adventurer, Derek Selbo. Originally from South Africa, Derek has toured and traveled extensively around the globe to learn, discover and experience all that awaits. During his travels, he takes a special interest in local foods, spices, beverages & customs.

Our Meetup group provides you with an opportunity to learn to cook and prepare amazingly tasty & authentic International Cuisines. These classes & events are a wonderful way to meet great people; to learn about cooking & wines, plus to share International travel tips, advice and ideas.

This Meetup Group also offers:

Private Cooking Lesson Parties for your guests (BYOB).
Team & Relationship Building experiences in a hand's-on cooking environment where one has to learn fast to work together effectively.
Specialty BBQ Cooking Classes in the warmer months
Trips to the wild to harvest natural & wild growing foods (edible plants and fish) etc.
Ocassional trips abroad to see and experience what most tourists never do.
