So that's actually something we are looking to organize here soon. Right now we are working with some local organization to get a space for the venue, so a lot of energy has gone into that.
Awesome, thanks Donald. Let us know if you need some early start volunteers.
Small update everyone. We have been working with a local organization to get a space for the event. Once we have the space set we can rolling down the check list of other things we have planned for the event. Sorry we have been quiet but rest assured we are hard at work putting this together! Timothy made a great suggestion of getting a pre-meetup to happen and we are also looking into that as well. With SXSW coming up our hands are a little busy at the moment. More info to come after SXSW!

Sounds awesome! One and a Half Beards will be there, FOR SCIENCE! http://twitter.com/1andahalfbeards

We welcome both half and full beards as well as ladies; most of which are beardless in our experience. The more the people involved with the event, the better! :)
1 · February 11, 2013
I take it this also includes beardless men and ladies with beards? Fantastic!
As an amateur astronomer, 2D artist, and former astronaut wannabe this sounds like a hoot.

Well help us spread the word, we need more people like you involved and I'm gonna guess that you might know a person or two. :)
Lookin forward to it!
Does this mean that Chaotic Moon is officially reverting focus from mobile media back into rocket science?
0 · February 8, 2013
More like melding the two together for the ultimate awesomeness!
1 · February 8, 2013
Who said we stop focusing on rocket science? :)
Let me put it this way - look at my history, do you think Labs would stay terrestrial? I still say "Halfway to anywhere".
2 · February 9, 2013
(And don't reply - I know - that's "this side of Saturn's orbit" - you have to start somewhere.)
