I just want to meet the people of the world and learn how other cultures differ from or are similar to how I grew up. I've never known any Asian person, but a Chinese woman I met help me in a very special way. I only spoke with her three or four times but her grace - lost to too many American women - and personal style obviously reflected her culture. I was uplifted when I was at a low point in my life. Now I search for her essence in the faces and manner of other Asian women. I want to learn more. Can this group show me what the rest of the world is really about?
Hello, I'm Fredrick and I'm an American who is very interested in Asian people, their various cultures - more specifically their attitudes regarding life, work, and relationships. I want to get acquainted with the real people of the world.
It was nice meeting some of you. Unfortunately for me I didn't get to converse with everyone. But I'd like to give a shout-out to George, who seemed a very friendly and interesting gentleman. I'd like to know him better. See ya later George. And I met Barbara, back from a long hiatus in Australia. She's a graceful lady who shared her passionate heart and sharp mind with me. Thank you for that insightful conversation. It made my day. But our group founder, Yali Lu, stole the show for me - and others I noticed. Not only did she bring us together, she looked completely spectacular in every way, and moved around meeting and greeting everyone with the easy of a butterfly visiting different flowers. Damn! Hahaha. This review is a tad over the top I know, but to me that's where life and living are found. It's the only difference between the individual, the collective, and the dead.
