Apokriatiko Glendi (Mardi Gras)!

Come get a taste of Greek culture at the Aprokriatiko Glendi! In the Greek Orthodox tradition, Apokriatiko Glendi celebrates the last week of eating meat before it is given up for Lent. At this free festival, you will have the chance to join the celebrations and enjoy delicious homemade Greek food. And if you want to hang around, there will be live music by the Greek Contemporary Ensemble at 6:00!

If you want to connect with people and learn a little more about the history of Apokriatiko Glendi before heading to the festival, we will be at the South End Buttery across the street (address 314 Shawmut Ave., Boston) from 2:30pm to just before 3:00pm.

Hope to see you there!
