Pilates in the Park!

  • Pilates meet up spot!

Pilates in the Park is now a weekly event beginning Wed Aug 28 and running from 7-8pm in the Augarten. Your trainer is Sebastian. He trained in New York and is a wonderful instructor. If you are coming for the first time, the group meets at The Dive Shop (Scuba Co.) located at Jägerstraße 23 btw 6:45 - 7pm sharp. From there we will walk over to the Augarten together and begin the class from 7:05-8pm. If you arrive late please come and find us in the Augarten. Please bring a mat or a towel and some water and dress in comfortable (stretchy) clothes. It's getting cooler, so bring something warm to cover up with for the cool down/meditation. Please RSVP to let us know if you are coming - feel free to bring friends. All levels will be taught and we're working on a "pay-as-you-wish" format. You're welcome to stay and have a drink at The Vindabona Cafe afterwards. We'll meet every Wed until the end of September - join us anytime!

    Hi Pilates in the Park (PiP) Team!

    In the likelihood that it rains tomorrow, we will meet at our usual time and spot and do a run and boot camp together. All levels are welcome - do not worry - running the rain is awesome - you'll love it! For this week we have moved Pilates to Thursday Aug 29th, same time, same spot as always. Fingers crossed for good weather!

      Hi Laura, Khaled - It's awesome to have beginners and I know it's not so easy to do something new - so we're thrilled that you might try out your first Pilates class with us. Pilates focuses on increasing "core" strength - in your abdominal muscles, in your back, upper arms, chest and butt! If it rains this Wed we will switch up our program and have a fun run/bootcamp planned for us to do in the Augarten - all of the other details remain the same - but we'll post with more info later on today or tomorrow if that's the case!
