I am organizing a clothing drive and thought some of you might want to help.
Please find info at http://www.internations.org/activity-group/6418/activity/81184 or see description below.
Cheers! The time has come to lend a hand to those in most need. Caritas is asking for clothing donations and we want to contribute on behalf of our IN group. So, roll up your sleeves, share some hours, and remember all those times your mom told you to:
"Clean out your closet!"
Clothing, baby, c-l-o-t-h-i-n-g
-So you are leaving Vienna and everything does not fit in one suitcase... Excess luggage can be pretty expensive; you'd better play safe and give the extra stuff to us.
-So you have this awesome suit which looked great on you two years ago, but now it is time to get a new one... Yes, you read our minds, we want the old stuff!
-And you have trousers that are two sizes smaller than your current size and you keep them in the hope that one day you will wear them again... Forget about it, this kind of miracle barely happens, babe. Give the trousers to us, bitte!
-And you have kept your significant other's clothes in the hope he/she will be back... Time to move on, dude. Give the stuff to us, and make room in your closet - and life -for a new love.
-If you could drop off the clothing at any of the Caritas collection centers, that would be super awesome and we would love you very much. Some of the centers are mentioned below.
-If you can donate but cannot drop off, we still love you. Please get in touch with Claudia and (hopefully) she will figure out a solution. Please let us know your district and a day/time convenient for the pick up.
We need volunteers in every district to be focal points for pick up or/and drop off. If you can help, shoot a line to Claudia.
It goes without saying:
-This is a charity clothing drive, you are free to make your contributions either directly to Caritas or through us. Your donation does NOT benefit us (otherwise, we will demand designer's clothing in size XS - Claudia's size, btw).
-Clothes should be in good/mild condition.
-Any size, any style.
-Men garments are in high demand.
-Toiletries (even used or open) are very welcome.
