Run+B-fast

Hi running fellows!

(Check out the map.) I am back in town and the running club is back on track!
Would you like to join the running group that has the most fun? Are you brand new to running? Are you an ultra-elite distance runner? Are you just an average runner looking for a fun group of people to go running with? This is the group for you! We will have weekly fun runs every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM and BREAKFAST (yes, breakfast!) at 10:35 AM. Come join us! Tell your friends. Invite your uncle. Run with your dog. Want to run with your iPod and not talk to anybody? That's fine! Want to discuss politics and the best recipes for banana pancakes? Whatever. No commitment necessary. No RSVP required. No dress code enforced (it is your call Sebastian!)

Meet up Claudia sharp at 9:30 AM, outside the U-Bahn stop main entrance and next to the magazine kiosk. Claudia is a petite (160cm) and wears a hat.

We'll split up into groups depending on the turnout for distance and time goals for 3, 5 or 6 mile loops. It's your choice! What to expect: a seriously fun group of runners who definitely do not take running too seriously. We will meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT BREAKFAST and then leave. It's that easy.

The more the merrier!

Breakfast Details: Between 10:35 and 11:30 (depending on how long we run) we go for b-fast. There are several options available.

Please join us for breakfast after the run! ALL ABILITY LEVELS ARE WELCOME!!! WE RUN IN ALL LANGUAGES!!! Happy Run!

Claudia

P.S.:
You are welcome to come for a walk, too. You can also join us just for b-fast. If you are running late, likely you will not find us unless you know our usual meeting point for b-fast. Please, keep in mind that I am quite busy and cannot answer individual comments. I provided as much info as possible. So, do your part and be there on time.

Much fun to run in a group/with others for a change. See you next week!

I'm a very very slow runner but I'd like to push myself a bit now, try new distances, new tracks. Maybe group jogs are what I need to finally pick it up again? looking forward meeting you all!

Don't you worry! You've come to the right place. We can run as slow as the comfortable ducks or as fast as the daring squirrels. You can have any degree of gentleness or toughness. Whatever your preference may be, make sure to show up if you RSVP. :)

Hi! Do you run on the weekdays too or anyone interested in doing so? I'm new to Vienna so not familiar with the available areas and wouldn't mind being pushed a bit...that said I'm away for the next two Sats so if anyone is free before that, let me know!

I usually do run on weekdays, but I haven't tried meeting up with other people in an occasional manner. I'm very much used to being flexible and going out for a run in the evening whenever it tickles me. So to manage to schedule a spontaneous run may be a little time-consuming and be mostly a matter of luck. I'm not saying we shouldn't try, but I ain't promising nothing either. As running routes I can recommend Schönbrunn, the Wienfluss-Weg, the Donau Kanal and the Prater Allee. Hope I could be of help!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
