Announcing a new Meetup for The DC International Professionals Meetup!

What: Charity Happy Hour at Modern!!

When: October 16,[masked]:00 PM

3287 M Street
Washington , DC 20007

Let's get together with the 20s and 30s Meetup Group for a Charity happy hour that will benefit the Civilian Production Fund... a non-profit initiative to support art projects and exhibitions that would not otherwise have funding.... suggested $5 or $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to the Civilian Production Fund and 20% of donations will go to the 20s & 30s Going Out Group to cover Meetup fees and expenses.

The following Groups are also planning to attend:
Kick-A$$ Professionals
The Booze Club
The Little Black Dress Club
DMV Ladies
The German Language Group
Young, Chick and Fab Ladies
DC/VA/MD Happy Hour

DJ Humz will be spinning loungy groovy beats for us. The happy hours typically bring out 150 - 250 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around.

If you haven't been there before, Modern features low couches, a deep sunken bar surrounded by ottomans, and shimmering white curtains. See

Closest Metro is Rossyln (Orange and Blue lines), ~15 minute walk across Key bridge. There is now a Georgetown Shuttle that will take you across the bridge! I suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour), recommend using wmata for travel plans.
