Driving Business Value with IoT: Connecting Products to Salesforce1 Platform

Its time to start planning for our next Meet up!!!

At the last meet up we spoke about communication standards and some perspective on UX. This time we are going to focus on showing how an IoT device gets connected to Salesforce 1.

The speaker will share how organizations today are using IoT to achieve business results and how to turn data from your products into actionable information.

Join us for this exciting evening as we explore more IoT applications.

Food and drinks will be provided.

Really interesting night! Came away with my head spinning about enterprise applications, liability, proprietary vs. public data and the firm conviction that everybody in tech—designers, managers, developers, lawyers—should really be required to take an ethics course. We are swimming in wonderful/dangerous waters... Also, just for fun... a post about the O'Reilly Solid conference I put on the BiC blog last June: http://www.builtinchicago.org/blog/if-youre-software-you-should-be-hardware-too

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
