Really good to be invited to contribute at the event last week. Good blend of backgrounds and active discussion.

Please find a copy of my presentation on Slideshare.

I'm serous about if anyone wants to share a taxi with me. There are no buses or trains after this meeting, so I have no option but to get a Taxi. If anyone is doing the same, we can share a ride and share the fare (making it less for everyone).

That would be great, although no need to go to too much effort to do so.

OK. a bit worried about finding the centre, but assuming I do, I have space for 3 people to come back to Oxford.

Hi all, Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the meetup tomorrow, but wanted to let everyone know about a digital health hackathon that is going on this weekend (12/13 July) in the Oxford Launchpad at the Business School, which some of you might be interested in. We have a mix of developers, clinicians and others, and will be focusing on problems including Global Health, Patient Experience and Ageing. We also have a number of bits of hardware, including a Google Glass and Oculus Rift, as well as Pi, Arduino etc. You're welcome to come and help code, hack, and also to come to the demo session at 3pm on Sunday to see what the teams have come up with, and offer comments etc. More details and signup are at

    Enjoy tomorrow evening,

Do you have a simple Web page with the title, abstract, and presenters etc? It would make it a lot easier to reach out beyond your group.

I thought I was ahead of the pack in talking about the IoT, and now I realise there is an organisation devoted to it. Here is a talk on society and the Internet that ends with a discussion of IoTs.

Hey there. I'll probably be getting a minicab back to Oxford after this. The trains aren't running. Does anyone want to share a ride?
