This group is for parents and their biracial/interracial children ages 6 and up. The purpose is to get children together with others who look like them and have similar experiences. At the same time, parents can develop relationships and help one another have positive discussions about self identity with their children. If we want our children to embrace multiculturalism, it makes perfect sense to put that into practice. Your child will benefit from seeing you have meaningful relationships with other interracial families. Together, we can teach our children how to move forward, not colorblind, but with an appreciation for diversity.
