This meetup is for anyone interested in using the intersection of psychology and technology to make a positive impact on people's lives, work, community and the world.
Our goal will be to explore, discuss and push forward the cutting edge in gamification, behavior design, persuasive technology, designing for happiness, designing for behavior change, designing for critical thinking, designing for well being, emotion design, choice architecture, positive psychology and behavioral economics and other related topics.
Our methods will include presentations, discussions, guest speakers, codeathons, joint projects and more. We'd like to grow this into an influential group leading up to events at SXSW, a TEDx, and a source of high-quality, actionable guidance to organizations, public, private & non-profit seeking to improve outcomes in the people they work with.
One our founders, Robin Krieglstein, is a member of the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab with Dr. BJ Fogg, has provided gamification and behavior design consulting to a dozen Fortune 500's, founded the first gamified, goal-achievement social network and has been pursuing the intersection of psychology via technology for over 25 years.
