Terrace Pond & Bearfort Fire Tower Circular

  • Jan 19, 2014 · 9:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

We will do a 9+ mile circular hike, starting at the Clinton Road trailhead with a visit to the Bearfort fire tower and a visit to Terrace Pond in winter. Good hiking boots are essential; crampons or other traction devices may also be required.  Bring snacks, lunch, water, and pack with extra cold weather clothing. Heavy Rain or Foul Weather will cancel this hike. This is a strenuous hike.

Sorry, the alarm wasn't working and I could not make the early start needed. I know a lot of time is needed to get all the way up Clinton Rd. I had been looking forward to this one.

The best reason is so there's less risk of having to finish hiking in the darkness. Do you feel that 9 AM is too early?
