If you are as frustrated as I was with being tied to the Program or Auto function on your DSLR this is an excellent first level workshop. Blair was very patient going over dials, settings, and definitions. Now, I can practice having more control over my camera and taking the shots I want to take. Thank you Blair. (looking forward to the next workshop)

Yes, I'll be posting the followup Workshop. I need to create a new meet up group. I'll be calling it "Improving your photography skills: Level 2" I've booked the day and the space with the Wired Monk. I'll keep everyone posted.

This was a great starting point for learning how to use your SLR camera. Blair is very knowledgeable and patient and takes the time to explain. He was also good at coming around and looking at each type of camera and helping us locate the specific buttons and funtions of each camera. There is a lot of material and information to cover and 4 hours is a good amount of time when you are just learning something new. This is a good stepping stone to the next level.

It was great to meet everyone who came to the workshop sessions yesterday. I enjoyed the time. Hope you were able to learn a lot of new things about your camera and how you can take your photography to the next level. Remember to practice what you have learned. Set a project day. Don't be afraid to experiment. And have fun.
Thank you for your interest in the group. The next level in this series is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th. Hope you can make it.

WOW! I attended this workshop and got back every nickel of my investment. Blair took the time to explain all the buttons on my digital camera and how to get better photographs without having to purchase a new camera. I feel my time and money were well spent and would recommend this workshop to anyone wishing to get more out of their digital camera.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
