I thought the talk was a little boring - there was little science, and too much policy talk for me. Apologies if you felt the same.

Hi Folks. If you're interested in a bite to eat, we can go up to Hampden Road in Nedlands, or nearby. http://goo.gl/I2NQs

Hi Kerry. It's a free event, but unfortunately all spots have been booked. :(

Are people meeting beforehand or afterwards? I got a confirmation email today and it stated: "Names will be taken at the door, so please aim to arrive few minutes early."

In addition to the map from Steven this is exactly where the closest entry is I think (yellow arrows on Steven's map): http://goo.gl/maps/5lRnh

I have no idea how long it's going to take to drive there from the other side of town at this time. I should be there in plenty of time hopefully :) See you there!

We can do both I guess, so if people can't meet up beforehand, they can join as afterwards at the same spot. If we're interested, we could go for a coffee/beer/chat somewhere like Steve's.

Tenuously I'm quite keen to come, though am not going to sign my name in stone until I can confirm my plans.

Prof. Chubb is massively charismatic (larger-than-life is often used to describe him) and really knows his stuff (I'm such an ex-ANU fangirl!).

I heard him talk once when he'd just returned to ANU from the Davos conference and even in that far away place and time he referred to WA so it may well be a topical talk!
