IoT Munich at the MobileTech Conference

The MobileTech Conference is one of the main events of the mobile industry in Germany. To celebrate the first Internet of Things track on the MobileTech Conference we are partnering with them to host the IoT Munich meetup after the regular conference.

The confirmed speakers at the moment are:

Thomas Amberg from Yaler.

Thomas Amberg (@tamberg), founder of Yaler GmbH and organiser of IoT Zürich, presents Yaler, a connectivity service enabling secure Web and SSH access to embedded systems. Applications include home automation, wireless sensor networks and remote configuration of Internet-connected wearable devices.

• Sven Haiges Technology Strategist at hybris

Sven (@hansamann) will speak about his experience on the Internet of Things, NFC and being a DIY hobbyist and a Kickstarter addict.

Florian Schumacher from Founder Quantified Self Germany, Trend Scout Wearable Technologies AG

Florian collects data about his activity, sleep, weight, body measurements, heart-rate, bloodworks, alcohol levels, time, behaviors and wears a life logging camera every once in a while. In his presentation Florian will explain what technologies he uses to collect his data and what he has learned from it.

Join us for drinks, food and networking after the MobileTech Conference.

UPDATE: MobileTech Conference give away to the IoT Munich members a 15% discount of the Conference tickets using the code 'meetup'. Feel free to use it to attend the MobileTech Conference.

Very much looking forward to this event. The IOT scene is shaping as we speak and things that were hard to connect a few weeks ago are now easy as pie with Spark Core or Electric Imp. It's gonna be fun, bring your toys.
