IAF Vice President and PR/Communications Officer elections

We will be electing a new Vice President and Public Relations/Communications Officer at the IAF Business Meeting at Smokey Row on January 9,2012. The Vice President will complete the current term of office ending in June, 2012.

The Vice President will maintain the current membership database, endeavor to increase IAF membership, and will also stand in for the President, if necessary.

The PR/Communications Officer is responsible for any contact with the press, under the guidance and support of the Board. This includes fielding information requests from the media, preparing and distributing press releases and participating in media interviews regarding IAF. 

To be eligible for either of these positions, candidates must be a current contributing member in good standing. Non-contributing members who are nominated must become contributing members before they can accept the nomination.

Individuals may be nominated for one, or both, positions.

If you would like to nominate a candidate, you must also be a current contributing member. Please email nominations [address removed] before 5 p.m. December 23, 2011. 

Self-nominations are permitted.

If you are nominated, you will be informed before December 24, 2011 and will have until December 31, 2011, to accept the nomination.

Candidates will be announced on January 1, 2012.
