Hack on code and hardware!

  • Across the street from the Englert, above the Chait Galleries. The door should be open, just come on up!
  • It's almost the 3rd Sunday of the month again, so that means it's time for another OpenHack meetup!  Any software or hardware projects are fair game -- bring whatever you'd like to work on.  Looking for something?  Pick an open source project of your choice, and give back!

Like normal, we'll start with introductions where attendees can say a few words about themselves and what they're planning to work on.  As always, if anyone would like to bring food or drinks to share, it's very appreciated!

I'm trying to set up an old version of PostgreSQL (8.4) on my Mac this weekend, and if anyone could possibly help me out Saturday I'd basically die of gratitude.

Ugh, hit enter when I didn't mean to. :(

Finally, if you can't get one of those working and really need Postgres 8.4 this weekend, let me know in a comment and I'll see what I can come up with.

Building from source is still an option on OSX, but be prepared for dependency hell (part of why Vagrant can be so helpful).

    Hi all,

I was waiting to see how many people would RSVP with the holiday weekend approaching. Given the low number of people planning to attend in addition to my being out of town next week, I think it'll be best to reconvene on our normal schedule next month.

    See you next time!

Just a quick update: This event was scheduled for Easter Sunday, but has been moved to the day before (Saturday 4/19) to avoid schedule conflicts.

Continuity Control has recently moved from Busy Coworking to IC CoLab (also downtown); until further notice, assume that the event will take place at Busy, like normal.
