At our Iron Cupcake Challenge:Moorestown events we will have members submit a tray of cupcakes to be judged by local celebrities! There will be prizes, lots of fun and bragging rights to be named the Iron Cupcake Moorestown champ!! Come out, show off your baking talents, have fun, support the community and win prizes! Top prize is $150.00 and there are second and third place prizes also! Proceeds from each Iron Cupcake Challenge will also benefit local charities! Come have a blast and get ready to rumble at the Iron Cupcake Challenge---are you up for the challenge???? The secret ingredient for July's Iron Cupcake Challenge is Lemon and the sales from this event will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

    More updates for you: Pinsetters Bowling Alley donated an auction item as well as the Philadelphia 76'ers! A throwback Moses Malone autographed jersey! I have been given so many items for the auction, I've decided to do a fun raffle where random entrants win prizes too!! Lots of fun!!!!!! See you friday!!

    Just received word from four more local businesses! Curious Parents magazine is donating a gift basket with tickets for Six Flags Great Adventure! Robins Treasures, Wachovia Bank, Baccio and TD Bank also donated items for our auction!! Things are really heating up folks! I also received four more entries yesterday!! We are going to have an amazing time! Says ABCNews Anchor Rick Williams, "the station is excited""-we may even make the news, stay tuned!! get your forms in asap!!

    THE MOORESTOWN MAYOR will be one of our judges for this exciting event as well as Flyers Goodwill Ambassador, Bob-the hound-Kelly!! Top prize is $150.00! Auction items including sports memorabalia and other awesome items will be on hand to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

    This is going to be a lot of fun!! Word is out in the street and people are digging through their best cookbooks and recipes to find "THE" perfect one!! Can't wait to have fun, taste some delicious treats and help a great cause!!

      “ For a first time event, all-in-all, I thought it was ok. People seemed to have a great time. The Phillie Phanatic was hilarious! All the judges were very friendly as well. And of course, all the cupcakes were delicious! Only the top 3 were announced, it would've been nice to receive an email to see where everyone ranked, and a picture w/ each of the names of the top 3, so people knew which cupcakes exactly won. I felt bad for the auction, I think it suffered greatly due to the poor set-up. So many people were crowded in the corner to watch the judging, that no one could really make their way to the auction. ”

    • “ I think it might be better if there were two categories. One for professional bakers and one for novices. Otherwise I thought it was a really good time. ”
    • “ I think a chef or notable foodie should have been on the judging- it would have been better to have it at a place that could accomadate all the people (like the community house). Why did we submit recipes? would have been good to display recipes with the cupcakes (more table space was needed). ”
