Iron Cupcake Challenge: Moorestown August Meetup

Well, we are certainly coming off a successful first ever Iron Cupcake Challenge in Moorestown!!! Our first event was charity-based and raised over $2,000 for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. We packed an amazing amount of bakers and challengers into a too-tight Green Apple Bistro-but it was all for a good cause and I thank you all so much for your patience and understanding for the not so great accommodations. However, learning from the hiccups of the first event, there will be some changes for the next one. First off, there will be a limit of TWENTY FIVE BAKERS. That being said, if you want the chance to "steal the Iron Cupcake Crown" from our reigning champ, Miss Sandy Koory (congrats to her for winning our big prize at our last event)you must rsvp and get your form/fee in right away. I will not be making exceptions this time as we don't want any problems with space/crowds/unhappy bakers. So that being said, our next event will be fashioned pretty much the same way as the first. You will premake your cupcakes, present them, top three winners will be picked, but their can only be one IRON CUPCAKE CHAMPION OF MOORESTOWN!!!! The secret ingredient for this month's challenge will be: COCONUT!!! You can incorporate that into a coconut cupcake, icing, etc. and bring us your best coconut cupcake idea. So, grab your thinking caps and get coco-nutty for your best coconut cupcake recipe. Bring one dozen premade coconut cupcakes to the event and we will present them before a panel of judges. They will be judged and the top scorer could possibly knock our current champ off the Iron Cupcake Chopping Block, or... could Sandy Koory keep the crown and remain our Iron Cupcake Champ??
