Ironman Tennis was created to coordinate and schedule hitting sessions for our small band of tennis regulars. Many of our members competed in junior circuits, high school and/or collegiate tennis. At the core of Ironman Tennis is playing tennis at a very fast pace. We also compete regularly in USTA Leagues and currently looking for new members to join our team.
We welcome new members who are serious about coming out to hit on a weekly basis, can keep up with 5.0+ level players and hit continuously for 2-3+ hours.
NTRP 5.0: This player has good shot anticipation and frequently has an outstanding shot or attribute around which a game may be structured. This player can regularly hit winners or force errors off of short balls and can put away volleys, can successfully execute lobs, drop shots, half volleys, overhead smashes, and has good depth and spin on most second serves.
This is a very high cardio intensive and physically demanding group. Please note if you have been confirmed as a new member, please try to come out within the first few weeks to avoid becoming inactive. We try to maintain mostly active members in our group.
Please note some requests will be declined based on your current skill level description. All requests must include a current photo of yourself defaulted as the main image. This allows all members to easily identify you on the courts. All incomplete profiles will not be considered. If you have been declined, please consider joining nearby tennis groups, which are open to all skill levels. For confirmed new members, we regret those who are unable to keep up with the level of play may be dropped.
