“Grace, a professor of natural science who has no god in her life and is fiercely intolerant of those who do, is confronted by her barrister son Tom, who abandons the law to pursue his faith.... At heart, On Religion is a family drama that looks at how much, if at all, we are willing to compromise our own deeply felt beliefs for those we love and hold most dear.
“Informed by conversations with leading philosophers, theologians and scientists including Professor Richard Dawkins, Rev Dr Giles Fraser, Professor John Gray, Baroness Julia Neuberger, Archbishop Rowan Williams and Tariq Ramadan, this play explores faith and religion through a human, moving and theatrically cinematic story.
"’... plunges into basic questions about what it means to be human and the appalling and glorious messiness of being alive ... a reminder that both fundamentalism and love come in many hues.’ – the Guardian”
