Tasting Clos de Gat Wines. Not French.. Its From The Judean Hills.. (NON-KOSHER)

Clos de Gat is a young Judean Hills Boutique winery that has gotten rave reviews throughout its short life. Its name is a play on words -- the French Clos is an enclosed vineyard surrounded by stone walls, and the Hebrew word Gat is an antique wine press. However, its wines are seriously good !

We promised to expose club-members to Israeli Wines -- both Kosher and non-Kosher.... These wines are Not Kosher.

Sit back and relax on one of MyHome’s showroom couches and join other wine lovers at the Israeli Wine of the Month Club’s interactive wine tasting experience.

What is interactive wine tasting?

* Nine wonderful Israeli wine will be explored. Cheese, crackers and fruit also served.
* A panel of our Sommeliers/Wine Critics will describe each wine and guide you in exercising your palate tasting them
* You will be encouraged to voice your opinion about each wine and write elaborate notes -- be Robert Parker, Tom Stevenson or Daniel Rogov for a night...
* We will collect everyone’s tasting notes and distribute them via a newsletter. The newsletter will also include professional tasting notes as well as detailed descriptions of the wineries, and more...

Each tasting has its personality and dynamics; this tasting was fun and interesting. The wines were superb and the team was friendly and engaged. Eran selected the cheeses to match the wines tasted and the outcome was a great selection that wowed everyone. Other Panel members, Raffi and Gary were really into the wine. Haim Hassin, the wines' distributor, described the wines wonderfully. So, all in all it was a great event.
