Good Afternoon everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful September Indian Summer we are experiencing. For those who are coming to our Campania Region event, you might have Italy on your mind. For everyone else, start thinking about the wonderful harvest that this beautiful country boasts during the fall.

For this bountiful season, Massimo has picked Piemonte, a northern Italian region that borders both France and Switzerland. With neighbours like these, this region is known for its amazing wines including Barbaresco, Barbara and Dolcetto to name just a few. It is also known for its chocolate and according to the history books, chocolate was produced here even before Switzerland, and chocolatiers Giroldi and Giuliano were already famous in 1700. Finally Piemonte is also the land of Truffles, those amazingly flavourful mushrooms that are as famous for their elusiveness as for their use in fine cuisine.

We have two events planned and I wanted to get the invitations out early so you can mark your calendars:

Italian Thanksgiving - October 16th
Italian Thanksgiving - October 23rd

RSVP early and make sure you tell your friends, these are special events with very special menus and Massimo is promising some of his most creative recipes including all of the regions specialities - Chocolate, Wine and Truffles. We hope to see you at one of these special evenings. Take care,
