Sorry for the very short notice, but this opportunity came up and I wanted to get a group together for it! Bruce Koeller, owner of Amore Gelato downtown, has offered to give us a tour of their shop, showing us how gelato is made and letting us scoop our own as well! It's kind of a fun and different event, and I thought it would be great for our group. The tour itself is free, but you'll want to bring a few dollars to purchase your gelato at the end - I am still trying to work out details to see if we can get a deal though. Anyway, since this is a small tour, we have to limit it to 20, so please RSVP only if you know you will attend. I will need to call the shop that morning to give them a count, so RSVP's will close Sunday morning at 11 am. Parking is free downtown on Sundays, which is why I picked it, and there's no Rockies home game that day either so there should be plenty of places to park. The gelato shop is located across 16th Street from the Denver Pavilions. We probably won't do anything else in conjunction with this, but a tasty cup of gelato on a warm summer afternoon sounded like a good way to go!
