New Meetup: Italian Dinner Meetup - February Event - "Mark & Isabella"

Announcing a new Meetup for Denver Italian Food Lovers Dining Group!

What: Italian Dinner Meetup - February Event - "Mark & Isabella"

When: January 26,[masked]:45 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Please note, we are still working on our combined event with the CO Springs Italian Group and hoping for February now. Stay tuned.

For the January 2009 event, I am booking our group at a brand new restaurant in Belmar called "Mark & Isabella." This is oven pizza e vino's American-Italian sister. "Mark & Isabella" is a return to the original American-Italian cuisine founded on natural, robust ingredients, slow-cooked and hand-prepared in classic combinations. They make their own marinara from scratch, pull the fresh mozzarella cheese daily, and roll their own pasta. The wine list is composed of more than 65 bottles from 4 countries.

A few things to note:

1) The restaurant agreed to give us an open reservation count, though I would appreciate it if you would finalize your RSVP no later than 12 noon on Mon, Jan 26th (when I have to give them the final count). At the last event, I had 14 people who did not show in the end and who did not acknowledge that with me. Very disappointing. So, as an event leader who does not charge members for my quarterly fee, I appreciate prompt and courteous communication. Thanks! : ))

2) The restaurant also agreed to provide us with separate checks, though we may be at more than one table.

3) You can find their latest menu online at the website

4) Lastly, to find this restaurant more quickly, it is located in the Belmar shopping plaza at W. Alameda and Wadsworth in Lakewood (a few miles south of W. 6th Avenue). Within the complex, the restaurant can be found next to Baker Street pub and adjacent to Wasabi as well as the movie theatres. There is plenty of free parking on the west side of Baker Street in the lot.

Thanks and hope to see you all there on the 26th!
