I traveled more and more( I am exhausted) but now I have enough for a repeat. The Boletus Edulis aka his majesty Porcino mushrooms. You are going to have probably your first experience of eating a fresh Porcini. Few restaurants ever have it, when they have it, 90% of the times are frozen………..But they never offer fresh Porcini mushrooms salad, it would be too expensive. Shaved row Porcini with extra virgin olive oil, lemon, fresh thyme, fresh mint, fresh pepper, shaved Parmigiano. Supermarkets don’t have them neither Whole Food nor Farmers Markets. You can’t grow them. I will travel again next days and we are going to have this incredible dinner based on these rare and fascinating mushrooms. One of the courses, besides the salad, will be risotto with Porcini. The cost will be $ 30.00 and I will provide everything, from the food to pots, pans, tables, chairs, flatware, plates, table linens, utensils………..bla,bla…….and everybody brings a bottle of an Italian wine and a glass. The Meet up is open to 30 people and the location is my home in Lafayette. I will email the attendees the address later. Let’s have fun, cook together, eat and drink good wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
