Hometown: United States

My photo was taken in Venice a very crowded touristy city where you have to search for places away from the crowds. I like what Thomas Man said about Venice: "This was Venice, the flattering and suspect beauty this city, half fairy tale and half tourist trap, in whose insalubrious air the arts once rankly and voluptuously blossomed, where composers have been inspired to lulling tones of somniferous eroticism."
My parents were both born in Italy. Both were born in Sicily. Dad came as a child but spoke perfect Italian laced with lots of dialect. Mom spoke both Italian and Sicilian dialect. I learned to speak from them both talking at home to each other and to my older brothers and sisters.
Food and wine related dinners and anything where I can get with Italian Americans and socialize.
This is a great place to practice your Italian language skills no matter what level you are at. Please come and enjoy the fellowship of people who love the Italian language.
Kind, friendly people who drink wine and either are Italian or like Italians. What's not to like!
